Project Overview

UNIQO is a mobile event app designed to bring people together through shared live experiences. The app provides a unified platform where users can discover nearby events, connect with fellow attendees, and communicate in real time — all in one place.

Designed with a clean, modern UI, UNIQO focuses on reducing onboarding friction while delivering a smooth and engaging user journey. From profile setup to location-based event discovery and in-app chat, every screen was crafted with simplicity

The Challenge

Designing a unified event app that simplifies discovery, onboarding, and social connection for event-goers was the core challenge. Users had no single platform to find nearby events, connect with attendees, and communicate in real time. Existing solutions suffered from complex sign-up flows, causing drop-off before users experienced the product's value.

The Problem

The original LINQ app suffered from inconsistent UI patterns, poor visual hierarchy, and a cluttered layout that made navigation feel overwhelming. Key screens like onboarding, explore, chat, and profile lacked a unified design language, resulting in a fragmented and outdated user experience.

A comprehensive UI redesign was carried out, establishing a strong and consistent design system with a refined pink-red color palette, clean typography, and well-structured component layouts. Every screen — from login and profile setup to events, chats, and notifications — was carefully restructured to improve visual clarity, user flow, and aesthetic appeal.
